The Electrician is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable installation of electrical systems and devices. Typical projects include lighting retrofits and lighting control installations. This role will also expand to support electrical service work, warranty repairs, EV charging installations, and Building Automation System (BAS) controls. Job Duties:
- Troubleshoots electrical issues for any projects needed.
- Diagnose electrical issues (loose neutrals, tracing circuits, switching controls, etc.)
- Reviews and looks over electrical plans/drawings
- Ensures install crew is installing equipment correctly and up to electrical code standards
- Determines if product is suitable for intended applications
- Serves as Service Department lead for new and existing customer service requests
- Schedules and conducts site visits to provide estimates and quotes
- Completes service calls and rotates for emergency work
- Program control systems
- Performs EV Charging Installs
- EV Charging commissioning
- Leads a team of technicians if needed
- Additional duties as needed
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Valid State Issued Driver’s License
- Experience working in electrical environment
- Ability to work independently or in a team
- Must be able to work flexible schedule
- Continued education
- Lift Experience
